Museums

A great museum to visit near Cayambe is the Museo del Banco Central. It is located in Quito, which is approximately 47 kilometers south of Cayambe. The museum has a vast collection of pre-Columbian artifacts and artwork from various indigenous cultures of Ecuador. Additionally, you can also check out the Casa Museo Guayasamin, a museum dedicated to one of Ecuador's most famous artists, Oswaldo Guayasamin. This museum is also situated in Quito and is around 46 kilometers from Cayambe.
