Museums

Unfortunately, there are no museums in Moroni Village or Kiribati as a whole. However, you can visit the nearby island of Tarawa, where you'll find the Kiribati National Library and Archives, which has historical exhibits showcasing the country's culture and history. Additionally, there is the Gilbertese Botanical Sanctuary, which features a collection of medicinal plants unique to Kiribati.

Food

One of the most popular and typical dishes in Kiribati is called "Kakai Kai" or "Palusami", which is made by wrapping taro leaves around grated coconut mixed with onions, garlic, and sometimes corned beef or fish. It's then steamed over an open fire until tender and served with boiled plantains or rice.

Another popular dish is "Ika Mata," which is a raw fish salad made with freshly caught tuna, lime juice, coconut cream, onions, and tomatoes. It's usually served as an appetizer or snack.

"Rukau" is another local favorite that consists of taro leaves cooked in coconut cream and served with fish or meat. The dish can also be made with pumpkin or breadfruit instead of taro leaves.

Finally, "Te Bua" is a traditional dessert that's made from mashed bananas mixed with coconut cream, sugar, and sometimes flour. It's then baked in banana leaves and served warm.
